Preliminary Ponderings

Well hello there my family. London says hello too. We both thank you for helping me get here safe and sound.

Off we go!

Our fearless leader...Professor Christopher Clark. And some unsuspecting British man. You guess which is which. He blends in so well with the local yokels!

The Millennium Bridge
When they first built this bridge in 2000, it swayed so much that people tossed their cookies into the Thames! It has since been redesigned, so we all kept our digestive biscuits in our bellies!

The Globe!
Where I was so excited I almost peed my pants. And then we talked about a show that everyone saw there last year where they flung poo at the audience. It was quite the experience. (Your welcome, mom.)

The Jubilee Bridge

Books Beneath the Bridge

The National!
I am so excited to see the shows that are currently running here. It is subsidized by the government and provides an incredible home for new work.

Twin Toes along the Thames

View from the Blue Bridge
The Blue Bridge is in St. James Park. The park is actually an enormous cemetery of plague vicitims. They just chucked them all in there 500 years ago. Before then, it was Henry VIII's hunting grounds. Now, it's just pretty...and slightly morbid if you give it too much thought.

The London Eye

Sneaky and Swanky
So we went to this bar...to take pictures. It's at the top of a hotel on Trafalgar Square and has the most amazing view. The security guard was really nice and let us go up to take tacky tourist pictures.

Love, PoLiHog

See guys! I made a friend!
